I applied for a job in Chicago, which is only about five hours away from me. It’s alterations, which wasn’t really what I wanted to keep doing (though I love it, but I want to try out other things in my field too) but at this point I’m just wanting a full-time job because I know I’ll never get that at my current place of employment. I’m hoping that, because of my experience, and because I’m closer to Chicago than I am to LA or NYC, they’ll consider me more than others have.
